1. Scope and contact
This policy applies to the Android app Iceland Aurora / 冰島極光, package com.iceland.travel. The developer is Ho Jen Jen Photography / 賀禎禎攝影教室. For privacy questions, contact hojenjen2018@gmail.com.
2. No accounts or advertising
The app does not provide user accounts, display advertising, or use a general-purpose analytics product. We do not operate our own server for collecting personal profiles. The ML Kit translation SDK does send limited diagnostics and usage metrics to Google as described below.
3. Optional location
Approximate and precise location are optional Android permissions. If you choose to allow them, the app uses location to show weather for your area, nearby places, distance-based ordering, and location tags in travel notes. You can decline or revoke location permission in Android settings; features that need it may then be unavailable.
For weather requests based on your location, coordinates are sent over HTTPS to MET Norway. MET Norway's terms state that its access logs may retain the IP address, requested URL, and coordinates. Location may also be obtained through Android/Google location services and place names may be resolved with Android's Geocoder; those services are subject to their respective providers' terms and privacy practices.
4. Notes, saved places, and sharing
Travel notes, saved/favorite places, and any location tags you add to notes are stored on your device. You can delete them in the app. Uninstalling removes the on-device app data, but Android backup settings may allow Google to retain an encrypted backup and restore it when the app is reinstalled. The app does not automatically send these items to us. System sharing happens only when you actively choose a share action; the app then passes the content to the destination you select, which has its own privacy practices.
5. Network data sources
The app retrieves travel, weather, aurora, road, satellite, and forecast data from third-party sources, including MET Norway, NOAA, EUMETSAT, IRCA, ECMWF, and static files hosted through GitHub Pages. These sources provide app data and do not require the app to send your account details because the app has no accounts. Network requests may nevertheless expose ordinary technical information to the relevant provider, such as IP address and request details, according to that provider's policies.
The app uses Google's ML Kit to translate travel content on the device. According to Google's ML Kit disclosure, translated text and translation results stay on the device, while ML Kit may collect device and app information, per-installation identifiers, performance metrics, API configuration, feature events and error codes, and configured source and destination languages for diagnostics and usage analytics. Google states that this telemetry is encrypted in transit and is not transferred to third parties.
6. Retention
We do not maintain an account database or a developer-operated store of your notes, favorites, or location history. App-local content remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app, subject to Android's backup and restore settings. Third-party providers may retain request, backup, or diagnostic information under their own policies.
7. Children
The app is intended for adult travellers and is not directed at children. A parent or guardian with a privacy concern may contact us at the address above.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated policy.

2. 不提供帳號或廣告
本 App 不提供使用者帳號、不顯示廣告，也不使用一般用途的分析產品。我們不營運用來蒐集個人檔案的自有伺服器；ML Kit 翻譯 SDK 仍會依下方說明向 Google 傳送有限的診斷與使用統計。
3. 選用定位
粗略定位與精確定位皆為 Android 選用權限。您同意後，App 會用於顯示所在地天氣、附近景點、依距離排序，以及旅行筆記的位置標籤。您可在 Android 設定中拒絕或撤銷定位權限；需要定位的功能可能因此無法使用。
依您的位置取得天氣時，座標會經 HTTPS 傳送給 MET Norway。MET Norway 的官方條款表示，其 access log 可能保留 IP 位址、請求 URL 與座標。定位也可能透過 Android／Google 定位服務取得，地名可能透過 Android 的 Geocoder 解析；這些服務分別適用其提供者的條款與隱私權做法。
4. 旅行筆記、收藏與分享
旅行筆記、收藏／最愛景點，以及您加入筆記的位置標籤，會儲存在您的裝置。您可在 App 內自行刪除；解除安裝會移除裝置上的 App 資料，但 Android 的備份設定可能讓 Google 保留加密備份，並在重新安裝時還原。App 不會自動把這些內容傳送給我們。系統分享僅在您主動選擇分享時發生；內容會交給您選擇的目的地，並受該服務的隱私權做法規範。
5. 網路資料來源
App 會向第三方來源取得旅遊、天氣、極光、道路、衛星與預報資料，包括 MET Norway、NOAA、EUMETSAT、IRCA、ECMWF，以及由 GitHub Pages 提供的靜態資料。這些來源供應 App 資料；由於 App 沒有帳號，App 不需傳送您的帳號資料。不過，網路請求仍可能依各提供者的政策揭露一般技術資訊，例如 IP 位址與請求內容。
App 使用 Google 的 ML Kit 在裝置上翻譯旅遊內容。依 Google 的 ML Kit 揭露資訊，翻譯文字與結果不會離開裝置；ML Kit 仍可能為診斷與使用分析蒐集裝置與 App 資訊、每次安裝識別碼、效能指標、API 設定、功能事件與錯誤碼，以及設定的來源與目標語言。Google 表示這些遙測資料會在傳輸過程加密，且不會轉移給第三方。
6. 資料保留
我們不維護帳號資料庫，也不在開發者營運的儲存空間保留您的筆記、收藏或位置紀錄。本機內容會留在您的裝置，直到您刪除或解除安裝 App，但仍受 Android 備份與還原設定影響。第三方服務提供者可能依其自身政策保留請求、備份或診斷資訊。
7. 兒童
本 App 以成年旅客為主要對象，並非以兒童為對象。家長或監護人如有隱私權疑慮，可透過上述信箱聯絡我們。
8. 政策變更
當 App 或資料處理方式改變時，我們可能更新本政策。頁首生效日顯示最新版本；更新後繼續使用 App，即受更新後政策約束。
